Backlinks XXX Review Part #1: Why I Bought it Right Away

by admin on August 7, 2013

Admittedly, I am an avid fan of Glen Allsop over viperchill.com. He ran a hughly succesfully marketing blog. I think it’s the best marketing blog in the planet, he should be charging for the contents! As soon as Glen released a new SEO course called “Backlinks XXX”, I buy it without much hesitation.Specifically, I want to learn his backlinkling technique. Here’s the receipt:

That said, I am not his personal friend, JV partner or in his “inner circle”. I am not under the pressure to say good things about the product. Here I want to provide honest, unbiased, real customer review in a step-by-step manner. I will let you know if you need to other cost involved. You will also find a case study of mine (click here if you are in the hurry), where I used the techniques outlined in the course to earn quick bucks. Now let’s start with the sales copy.

As you land on the homepage of Backlinks XXX, you will see video sales letter (in flash format) with a big giant “add to chart” button. I am not a big fan of video sales letter as I have short attention span. Also, you can’t pause, rewind, and fast forward the flash video (if anyone have the know-how please enlighten)! In the video, Glen mentioned that “Today I want to share an unusual tip for link building”. Apparently, this underground tip will allow you to achieve high search engine ranking than “faster than you’ve ever dreamed”. Also, it’s “proven and tested.” Glen said that he will show you how you can still be relatively lazy and make money.

Here’s the thing: many SEO courses promise to teach you how to rank high in search engine (especially in the big G). However, anyone can attain high Google ranking easily with very obscure terms which nobody is searching (translation: zero profit) ! Heck, you don’t even need a course to teach you that. In the sales video, Glen did not mention if his system can help you to rank for keywords with average and high competition. As well, Glen did not back up his claims with proof (eg.earning screenshot and rankings) either. The case studies and related details are only available for paying customers. Glen went on to say that the system will make you money while being “relatively lazy”. I don’t like marketers who tell newbies that they can be lazy and earn money. To make money online, you must take a lot of actions. Glen has solid reputation in this industry, so I like to think that his system allows you to work smart. You certainly can’t be lazy and expect overnight results.

In the second part of the sales video, Glen emphasize how great the “one simple tip is”. This tip has allowed him and his team to rankly in Google, get hundreds of leads, and dominate new niche. OK Glen, we get it. If you rank highly in Google for profitable keywords, of course you will get ton of free traffic and leads. At this point, I am becoming impatient. Just exactly what “the one tip” is?

As I watch the remaining part of the video, the answer becomes apparent to me. The “one tip” is his SEO course called “Backlinks XXX”. How disappointing! I am not sure if the salespage is misleading or it’s due to my misinterpretation (English is not my first language anyway). I was expecting Glen to reveal a useful tip (for free) I can apply to my website right away.

So here’s the breakdown of course “Backlinks XXX”:

Module #1: Actual case studies, with links they’ve built. You can see what exactly is working.

Module #2: Specific source of backlinks that we use that you can duplicate in minutes

Module #3: video show you why you don’t have to do crazy manual link building technique. You only need to spend 1-2 hour in your first week

Module #4: Videos will really shock you. Why people fail with internet marketing and why Backlinks XXX can’t fail.

The additional bonuses include:

Two more case studies where exact URL, backlinks, and how much money we are making from search engine alone.
How they make thousands of dollars monthly from local SEO clients.

You will get access to Glen’s personal emails.

I am really excited to see that Glen include a few case studies in the course. Most other self-proclaimed SEO gurus don’t do that. In my opinions, these case studies alone would worth the price. On the other hands, I am not really keen to learn how to make money from local SEO. I prefer to work for myself, but that’s just me!
Glen stressed again and again that you will see results with his system. Also, you get 60 days to test the product. The payment processor is Clickbank, so you should have no problem to obtain refund (when necessary).

The buying process: Backlinks XXX cost $97 now. Lucky me, I grab a copy while it was priced at $69. The ordering process is very smooth. Unlike other internet marketing products, there’s no upsell and one time offer. I am able to access to member areas right away.

PS: according to Glen, a number of buyers (including yours truly) did not receive notification of updates due to glitch. If you experience the same, send an email to backlinksxxx [@] aweber.com.
PPS: It has been almost two months since I bought the course. I’ve emailed Glen several times. He has always been helpful and responsive. It’s safe to say he actually cares about his customers. Yes, he’s a rare breed in this industry!
